PHASE 2

A few years ago, in an effort to address the anticipated facility requirements of PVCS through the next five to ten years, the Board of Directors developed a strategic plan consisting of a four phase building expansion plan.

The classrooms include the following specialized rooms: a science lecture room, science lab with chemical and equipment storage room, instrumental and vocal music classrooms, a computer technology lab as well as two structured studies labs with an administrative office.  An art classroom will have separate rooms for equipment, supply storage, and a kiln.

An operable partition can be removed to join two of the remaining four general-purpose classrooms to provide a large meeting area for parent and small group meetings.  This area is complete with a food preparation room.  The room opens onto a large courtyard that will be designed and planted with grasses, trees, and shrubs by alumni volunteers.  The area will include picnic tables and permanent anchors for tents to be used for social gatherings and receptions.

As part of this major addition to the facility, the school nurse’s office and school library will be expanded and updated.
